If being a great performer/dancer, writing all your music (including your debut album solely), re-inventing yourself time and time again, majorly pushing the boundaries, etc. while still being discredited by many makes you "overrated" then I'm not sure you know the definition of that word. I mean, Madonna's songs pre-Mid 2000's are fairly great. To me, personally, I just find her voice hard to listen to. Which makes her overrated to me.
