Slay a bit, Gaga. You were amazing. I don't know why some of you are saying that it wasn't that good. Nothing quite tops the AMAs, but this was still awesome. I liked the realness to her vocals and there were no wobbly moments. The way she performed was good as well, loved the smoky silhouette and the lightning effects. And yes, she kept it simple so that nothing crazy could detract from the performance and looked gorgeous. This is the kind of performance that will enthrall the public to her again. They've seen a side to her that they rarely see, in song, costume and even vocals. Any UK promo at this point is an amazing gift.

OT: And yay, Saara got through! I never thought she'd make it!

well, isn't this the popstar performance you all wanted her to get back to?

It just doesn't suit the recent era, I would have prefered her staying on that black cube this with the little lighting for the whole performance. She also tried moving ("dancing") more, but it just doesn't suit her for now, especially this song.

And watching it for the 3rd time now, I must say, the vocals in the first half were really nice but I can see her trying to belt during the second part, what she shouldn't have!

I just watched...after all the complaining, I expected something much worse :rip:

Like what is the problem, she did GOOD! And let's just all be happy she didn't wear that pink hat this time around.

She indeed lost her voice. You can tell she couldn't use higher registers and was pushing her chest.

Lost her voice? She wouldn't even be able to hit some of this notes during 2008-2010, she's getting better every day. Maybe she was off FOR YOU on this performance, and it could be because of a lot of reasons. That doesn't mean she lost her voice. That's overreaction.

That acoustic Perfect Illusion performance on that one radio show says hello

Nope. This was still the weakest point. She's probably ill. Is it cold in UK now??

Your username perfectly describes certain users in this thread right now picking apart her vocal performance here as if it still wasn't spectacular.

They're saying she lost her voice as in she sounds sick and her throat/vocal chords are sore, not that she's lost her ability to sing overall lol. That's what "lost her voice" means.

I am honestly so done with the nit-picking of this fanbase. You want her to be perfect every time in every single aspect of her life. Get over yourselves and appreciate the highs of her instead of searching so hard for the lows.

In the past? Gaga's vocals have never been on more on point than they have been on Joanne era. She kind of didn't hit some notes perfectly but the perfect visuals and the ad libs make for it

Did you listen to any Perfect Illusion performances bar the one in Japan? :awkney:

So far,  for me, no performance is topping the other. If anything they compliment each other.

Especially the contrast of visuals between AMAs and THIS. Mucho Gusto.

Guys, "lost her voice"? :smh:

Go and listen to the performance again, the last 40 seconds of it (the last chorus to be exact).. A person who "lost his/her voice" doesn't sing LIKE THAT lol

Best Million Reasons performance so far was the Dive Bar Tour one at Nashville, when she debuted it.
