I think Gaga is planning on the Super Bowl to work retroactively

Right now, she's doing a bunch of low-key appearances, appearing in fields, bars, small clubs, and occasionally materializing on a rooftop and playing a guitar. This is not high-profile exposure, but the Super Bowl is. I strongly believe that Gaga is using the Super Bowl as promotion for what she's doing right now; when she performs there, search engines across the world will go off, and all of the shows, and interviews, she's doing right now will be the first things that appear. This is the biggest image reversal she could do, with the largest promotion that she will ever have; promotion that will also work in reverse, backwards in time, to push the images she's doing within the bubble surrounding the Super Bowl to have a widespread audience, while being momentously low-key appearances. Crowds of people will see her singing in front of a crowd of teddy bears in the middle of an abandoned cabin, without any shoes, and they will say, "This is not something we've seen her do before, except that other time she dressed meticulously well. No, this is new - this is authentic! She's not even trying to capture our attention, and that makes us like her more!" Heaps upon heaps will dive in, boarding the Gaga Train, and all of the passengers will begin to pick up speed, pummeling through layers of stone cold brick, bringing Gaga out into the mainstream, which is where, then, she can use this push to increase momentum forward, and rise higher and higher, like a phoenix, nay - like a lotus! RISE, LOTUS! RISE!!!

Yes, it was more of a general statement...regardless, I doubt that in February "crowds of people" are going to look up for her interviews, or performances, from November, just because of the SuperBowl.
