... yall act like trump is just all around bad. Hillary isn't all the way good fyi. (btw I supported neither in the election). I feel like I should give him props where props are due.:golfclap:.... now hopefully I see more positives than negatives coming from him.

Honestly, his views on the environment are enough to make me be disgusted by his presidency.

If the environment isn't protected, nothing else really ****ing matters :poot:

As someone who lives in Indiana myself, this is & was about the ONLY thing I agreed with him on during the campaign from hell that he ran...  But of course the devil is ALWAYS in the details apparently...   :nails:

I mean personally I would have been disgusted if either candidate won for different reasons. I feel like there could have been better representations for either party, but no matter who became president I planned to applaud the positive accomplishments and fight the negatives. Everything matters to me.

That's great and all, but what is he going to do about college tuition, college debt, the minimum wage, affordable health insurance, Medicare, tax cuts for the top one percent, Citizens United, Planned Parenthood, and the Environment.

Good for those thousand people. Trump is about symbolism over substance.

A Billionaire by the name of Steven Mnuchin, who bought a bank and proceeded to kick 35,000 people out of their homes during the housing crises, is going to be Trump's Treasury Secretary. That's right, Trump is picking a true villain of the housing crises to establishes economic and financial policy for the country – that includes tax policy. I wonder what income bracket will get the big tax cuts? Hmmmmm

"Drain the Swamp, right?" :giggle:

I'm only talking about Trump.

One small win does not outweigh a terrible negative. Paying dust to the environment is paying dust to humanity.

Another winner! :usrs:

Wilbur Ross will be Commerce Secretary. Ross was implicated in the Sago Mine Disaster in West Virginia, that resulted in the deaths of a dozen minors due in part to overlooked safety concerns. The mine was owned by one of Ross' companies and he acknowledged at the time having been aware of safety issues in the mine.

Again...Draining the Swamp, heh? :smh:

I think you failed to see this part of my post:

But I mean cool. That's your opinion and I respect that... but I have mine. I really truly don't know what else to say. :/

Hurting the environment is a bigger impact. The environment will fight back.

You can Applaud this positive but it's quite miniscule in comparison.

What are you trying to get at? I'm missing something. I'm not disagreeing with you. Actually in a way I'm agreeing with you.

Another part of my statement:

I just don't care about comparing each thing he does to each other and determining what is more crucial. I look at each thing individually. If he does good I will applaud that if he does bad, like with the environment (which I will do my research on), I will fight that. And I hope none of this sounds negative. I have no ill will towards you, but I genuinely don't understand what your goal is, because I didn't disagree with you. I just decided to applaud a small victory.
