I do not even smoke, but who knows what she does.. what was her reason for puking? i guess it was stress.. she was nervous.. what do cigaretts help with ;) Not sure Probably nerves and the strenuous dancing and singing all at once for 2 hours straight. The stage is enormous and complex, her vocals are better than ever, her dancing is better than ever, the story is more than just a face-palm worthy Wizard of Oz ripoff, it compiles iconic images of the BTW era and builds on them while adding new imagery... I actually have no idea what people who say things like this are seeing or hearing when they watch videos. That is, of course, if this isn't just another omg-if-I-pretend-that-I-want-what's-best-for-Gaga-then-people-won't-think-I'm-trolling bit :P I agree, it's a very complex story, adding to and meanwhile reinforcing the elements and spirit of BTW. What takes place is more a tale within its overarching mythology, and the whole show itself is not merely a culmination/climax of the last couple of years. It's heightened immensely because of the revealing of the puzzle pieces we didn't even know we lacked and the adding of new material, among other things. Along the way she even connects all the threads between almost all of the songs on the BTW album (metaphorically and even literally!) And Gaga's indeed adding to it (maybe as a building block for the future, even?). The way in which the show is presented is, I feel, ingenious - done in perfect doses of pure artistic expression vs. being thrilling and coherent as a story, symbolism vs. literal meaning, it feeling like watching an epos vs. making the audience feel like a part of the epos, etc. etc. etc. And that combined with the fact that her vocals have soared and evolved over the past year at a speed that's almost surreal (she is better than ever, indeed), the fact that Gaga is now basically running the whole thing and has an unlimited amount of creative and artistic freedom (even more so than she already did), the interweaving of musical/theater/opera and her own artistry, the many nuances to love, the way the whole surroundings (I feel like it's more than just "a stage") enhance everything, the enormity of the production, the scope of the show in general,... It's a masterpiece. It's not merely a "concert", it's something she turned into another format used to convey many means of (her) artistic expression as structurally interwoven as possible (as they should be - true artists don't have a vision in just one medium) and has managed to find a way this can be done in the space of 2 hours. She's breaking new ground everywhere she goes, and this is no exception. And it's a space pop-electro opera indeed, just like she said it would be. :) Sorry but at the very least if you don't "get it" (=/= your personal cup of tea, that's a different matter ) you respect her choices or you can continue to wallow in your own ignorance 24/7 and pretend to personally be the only one who is even more "ahead" of the actual visionary who is always 100 steps ahead in about everything she does. As for the question as to what some of those people are hearing and seeing while watching those vids, I keep asking myself that too. It is probably either that they see a black screen and have no audio, can't/don't want to go in depth and connect what they've just watched, have sworn an oath to never say anything remotely positive about Gaga under any possible circumstance or just have their heads stuck so far up their bums it's physically impossible for them to watch the vids. In my not-so humble opinion. Note: Totally not talking about people with quibbles and things they like to see changed, this only pertains to those few who, ahem, can't look beyond their own noses and appreciate anything.
