I'm only nostalgic when nothing's happening, I became a LM in 2013 and still got things to catch up on.

It's just something that I've been thinking about. I've been trying to figure out why people are so passionate and determined to have their favorite artist be at the top of the leader board, and while, it's obviously nice to have success. It's just downright unhealthy to want her to be the best of the best.

Also, I mean, it's not like you're personally affected by Gaga's success. You're not her parents, you're not her closest friends, you're not apart of her team, you're not getting her money, you're just a fan of her work. Why do you care so much about the charts and her perception? It baffles me, and I just tried to conclude that it's just a way to boost someone's self-esteem, whether they consciously think about it, or not.

There's an almost symbiotic relationship between pop stans and their faves these days, what with the constant stream of content and news fodder and almost 24/7 accessibility. It's extremely unhealthy to be so tied up into it, and yet we all are guilty of it to an extent. But it's very easy to maintain a warped perception these days, and it's as fascinating as it is sad. And I'm not sure - at this point - if it's a relationship that's necessarily healthy for either the idol or the admirer, to be honest.

Feeling like we could have an entire discourse on these subjects  But what can I say, in my day I've come across more intelligent Gaga fans than I have ever found in any other fanbase. We're a smart bunch... at least, when we choose to be.
