Are we on the verge of a less drastic version of the 2013 blackout again?

Gaga says a lot of things :ladyhaha:

Yeah i know :rip:

But i do believe thats what she intends to do. I think Gaga is being really careful this time around not to promote so much in the beginning that the album era comes to an end quickly. Im convinced that Gaga  & Bobby are more concerned about longevity this time around.

Whose longevity? The album's? Cause mine is shrinking with each letdown.

She is doing the Halftime Show, how the **** will she end in a blackout again? She'll be on tour after that.

I'll admit that this is the quietist Gaga era but the lyrics, production and storytelling is still amazing and Gaga's voice has gotten heaps better. I also think the quietness aspect is intentional. And Hey Girl is one of the best R&B tracks of all times.

I don't think she would ever do that to us again. I would be really disappointed if she did, honestly. This single change doesn't bother me as much since there was no massive announcement and hype from her about A-YO. It was a very subtle announcement compared to the Venus hype and abrupt single change before we even heard the song. I think they handled the change fairly well, and both songs sound like hit records, so I was fine with either.

But back on-topic, no, I don't think we're on the verge of another blackout. I think that the downtime we're experiencing now is more apparent because of the disappointment she had during the election. She's obviously taking a step back to spend time with her family for the Thanksgiving holiday, but that on top of the detour from promo that she had around the election makes it seems like they've given up on the album when they haven't.

As long as the video is out in the next couple of weeks before Christmas, I think we'll be fine. Million Reasons might chart a little higher than it's initial debut as a promo single, but I'm not expecting this massive hit single, which is fine. It was still a good single choice & a wonderful song. She can bring back A-YO for the third single and amp up her promo during the beginning of next year.

On the other hand, she's said they're taking a different approach, so maybe this downtime between events/performances is what she wanted. Who knows. We'll have to wait and see. I don't think we're on the verge of another blackout by any means, though.

The thing is there's probably no reason why Gaga is having a blackout. Unless she's hiding a secret really well...

maybe the break-up with Taylor? :/
