I use Spotify to listen to albums, singles, etc. What I end up liking, I purchase. I know not everyone is like me...but I invest a good amount of money in the music I like. Luc 4,775
Spotify has the potential to make music more reachable all over the world. Though it could harm markets that traditionally buy music (UK, US, Germany), it could make markets that don't (the Philippines, Brazil, Indonesia and in the future India and China) way more profitable, thus increasing revenue. If you look at the Swedish music market growth you can see that streaming actually increases music revenue, even in places where there is a tradition of buying albums.
