HANZ 4,380
honestly gaga is the only one to blame her, she says she doesn't care about charts but these stupid desisions scream something else and always end up ****ing up the era Venus would have flopped but the performances , the video and the era would have been so much better and interesting not really sure about AYO but it's definitely a better song for a second single My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

PeterPan 0
How about people stop freaking out about what she does and releases and just enjoy the music, when your a recording artist then u can make ur own decisions, but u cant make Gagas decision for her. And if you say she doesn't want to release singles the old-fashioned way, then she should just release the album with no single announcements at all, and do the videos she wants whenever she wants. Interscope's fault? Well she has always defended them, so they're not the ones to blame. THIS. I care little for charts now (I don't think I ever really did). But what on Earth happened to the old-fashioned way of releasing singles? Or the unusual way she implied/mentioned earlier? This is literally the ARTPOP era all over again (commercially). Still, all I want is some great music videos that as long as aren't cancelled I'm satisfied
CatelynnMarie 4,406
I don't care about charts really, but I do get disappointed with lack of visuals. Hoping the MR video will come soon
Bear 7,515
It happens because Gaga and her team always have timing issues and trouble planning ahead since forever. If you're going to adapt a plan to react to a change in scenario (DWUW/MR) you need to be able to act fast, otherwise you stick to the original plan. I really don't mind because I don't care about the charts, but that is the reason why I think it happens anyway.

Guest
1 hour ago, Kayla said: I actually have been getting annoyed at Gaga's singles choices. They're picking the most "radio-friendly" songs when they should be picking the songs that are actually showcasing Gaga's talent and individuality. It happened with Born This Way, ARTPOP, and now Joanne. Music not the bling, but the single choices they're making clearly look like they're taking the safest path when Gaga should continue being the face of innovation. To be fair, even though it's one the most radio-friendly song on the album, Million Reasons does show off Gaga's vocal abilities quite well. It doesn't have any crazy high notes or anything, but it shows her control and the quality of her voice.

President Trump 3,508
She has proven three eras in a row that she's not good at planning. It's ridiculous. She sabotages herself and then blames everyone else. Could have been the biggest pop star in the world. Ma ma pa pa pa
President Trump 3,508
I mean she even turns the blame on her own fans for "being too negative" when she makes THE most preposterous choices for a mainstream pop artist, and then expects us to just be fine with a distinct lack of planning - in this case she had 3 years to plan. ARTPOP and Born This Way we won't even talk about. Ma ma pa pa pa

No hot topic on here for such thing... Though i agree with everyone else, this is not normal. We have no video like wtf, what even is this era? It's very difficult to find enthusiasm in what she's about to do. Imo she was not ready to launch a new era, she should have never announced she was working on LG5. I wonder if she was pressed by the label to record a new album asap.
GloZell Green 11,723
Isn't it rather sad to see everyone turn their backs on MR as the second single after we had loads of threads petitioning for it to be the second single over AYO I always knew it wouldn't be a smash so I'm not surprised really.
