Hopefully she gets better!

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Chronic pain is long lasting pain. It's a broad term and the pain can be anywhere. For example, I have chronic hip/spine pain. I deal with it every day. Most common chronic pain that people experience is in their bones/joints. But it's not limited to that. It can be anything, such as even a chronic headache that some people have to deal with daily for hours at a time. Basically it's life altering pain.

Thats terrible. I used to have bad neck pain every day for years so I understand how emotionally devastating it is. I felt depressed because of it. I hope you will feel better. I know Gaga suffers chronic pain from the stress from being raped caused. But, I wonder why that pain isn't going away after she has been through th early and seemed to be at least somewhat emotionally healed. I just don't understand how stress can permanently cause pain.

Hopefully not, but I'm sure this is not normal. Gaga's usually covered on bruises, and they dont appear so easily just because of rehearsing, I mean, just look at Beyoncé, she dances her ass off but still you can barely see any bruises. I'm sure this, sadly, is Lupus related.

Being constantly stressed can lower your immune system and make you more prone to suffering from sickness or make already existing pain worse. I know she also deals with borderline lupus. I don't know much about lupus but I know it causes a lot of physical pain :( Hoping she feels better too, and thank you

This scares me so much... I guess we can take comfort in the fact that she can afford the best medical care.

What is this fascination she is having with talking about women lately? Like, women this women that. I find it a bit strange and actually find it a bit sexist. In Howard Stern's radio she said, "I just want women to be happy". I get that she's newly single and all that jazz but is she hating on men now?

Why do you equate loving women with hating men? Why do you equate lifting women up with putting men down?

And why are you trying to make her statements about women into statements about men?

Are you sure Gaga is the sexist one?

Is this line of questioning making you a bit uncomfortable? Like perhaps you've realized something about yourself?

Gaga needs to prioritize her health before anything else. :saladga:

Maybe she already does, but she should seek a holistic way to reduce her pain.

That looks like it hurts like hell, GaGa take care and rest!!

The Joanne comment seemed kinda random to me though :laughga: like "I got a bruise... which reminds me of Joanne because potato" :sis:

EDIT: Just read other comments, hopefully is not lupus related, and if it is, let's hope she gets the best possible treatment 💙

In any case : take care girl! 💙

Does it have a chance of these bruises being linked to lupus?

She doesn't have lupus as far as we know. She was tested borderline positive

"A doctor may use the phrase ""borderline lupus"" when symptoms or blood test results  suggest lupus, but there is not enough information for a definite diagnosis. This occurs commonly because some of the blood tests used to evaluate lupus, such as the anti-nuclear antibody (ANA), can occur in people without lupus. In addition, some of the symptoms of lupus, such as joint pain, can occur from a variety of causes, and so are not specific to lupus. Doctors therefore must look for a combination of criteria from the blood tests, the medical history, and the physical examination to make an accurate diagnosis.

The most commonly used criteria were established by the American College of Rheumatology. If a person meets 4 or more of the 11 criteria, then a diagnosis of lupus is likely. If a person meets fewer than the required number, a doctor may use a term such as ""borderline lupus"" or ""incomplete lupus"" or ""undifferentiated"" disease. When this occurs, it is important to continue to follow up with your doctor for monitoring.

Studies suggest that a small percentage of people in this ""borderline"" group go on to develop additional symptoms or blood work findings and are eventually diagnosed with lupus or a related condition. This progression usually occurs in the first five years. However, most people never develop additional criteria."

You must have a really fragile male ego to think that a woman promoting female success, health and happiness is a slight on you / your gender in any way.

Honestly, what struck out to me is how much of a fighter she really is. The first time we went backstage was a week before she cancelled the rest of the BTWB and needed to get the surgery, and she didn't make us worry about her being in pain while talking to her. Like, even though she was really hurting, she said her hip was hurting, she didn't have it show because I guess she didn't want to let her guard down and let us down by being concerned.

That being said, I'm disheartened to hear this but I trust that she has the best doctors and can mediate her pain the best she can, but I'm afraid she will push too far again.
