The belief that consensual acts of sodomy should be illegal isn't unprecedented or antiquated in some areas of our country. Flagrant Conduct; The Story of Lawrence V Texas by Dale Carpenter is a must read for every gay American. We need to be knowledgeable now more than ever. I don't care what he says. He picked a hugely homophobic anti-lgbt vice president during the race and we all saw what Supreme Court judges he was considering and all of them where anti-lgbt. North Carolina, my home state, still has it on the books even though its been ruled unconstitutional. In fact, many Southern states do.
