Why 'Joanne' Era Is Better Than The 'ARTPOP' Era

Is it though? 

I mean... Swinefest; hosting SNL; multiple televised performances; SXSW; The Muppets special; Roseland Ballroom. So many amazing things came out of the ARTPOP era. It's too early to say Joanne is better when all we have is one music video tbh. Dive Bar tour was exciting though.

Gaga is happier though, so obviously that's a better aspect. I'd rather she be happy.

I don't think she's much happier, she seems sober and dealing with it, while ARTPOP she seemed high and ****ed but too high and busy to notice it.

I don't think the music is much superior, and we don't have all those things to watch and enjoy.

I failed to connect with Joanne but did connect with ARTPOP euforia.

I love Gaga and each is a part of her, there's no meaning with which is better.

The Joanne era seems calmer so far, even the drama with the Shitsmokers was handled with grace, whereas the AP era was a straight-up MESS.  Everyday something terrible seemed to happen. 

Also, if you take the overall decline of music sales into account, Joanne has done just as good, if not better than AP did in its time.

I can't decide if I like Applause MV better than PI MV though - neither are her best, both are just all right. I think if she does two more videos like normal, I will consider this era to be far more successful than last time.

The only thing I see better is we didn't get ****ed over with DWUW and quitting the era. I still liked ARTPOP era better. It's still the beginning of the era I hope Million Reasons gets a new single not the new G.U.Y.'s John Wayne and Dancin' In Circles instead.
