I don't think he is responsible... It's not like Gaga is slaying other streaming services...

Gaga has some issues with streaming in general, she need more promo for her to get interest on streaming services.

But take A-YO or Diamond Heart.

A-YO has a TFM/BTW style hook with "A-Yo, A-Yo, we smokin em all, A-Yo, A-Yo" (is that what a hook is tho :rip:).
That sticks immediately tbh.

Diamond Heart sounds like a song that would smash during the "Rock"-times of the late 90s, early 2000s.

I just don't understand why Joanne is so under the radar somehow.
It's Lady f*cking Gaga that released new Pop material and no one seems to care
But they still know the Poker Face lyrics

My two favorite songs from Joanne :wub:.

I think these two are her biggest potential comebacks from Joanne

There is ^^ More promo on popular shows, not just one guest appearance every two months 

I think SB will help a lot too. 

She also need a big hit to help : DIC could be this one.

She is not even flopping but I don't understand how no one seems to be aware of her anymore or of her music... Like she gets attention with specific things like Oscar's performance or national anthem but she can't maintain it :shrug:

Actually her music is still selling very good with zero promo... Around 500k copies of Joanne in 3 weeks is the proof her name and her music can sell :)

True. She sells great compared to lack of promo and radio airplay but I am scared it won't be enough for an arena tour, hopefully super bowl can give her popularity a bump.

For the US, definitely. WW ? I don't know...

Anyway I don't see a huge WW tour for Joanne, the music of this album is still aiming the USA more than anywhere else.

The album is bad. Simple as that. You may like it but deal with the facts that songs are not catchy/there's no replay value, most of them are slow or mid-tempo songs and people are not here for that.

So throwing money for promo is useless. Also she is already well built persona so she doesn't really need it. She visited radios to talk about it, blogs and web pages informed people that it's out. She is announced as Super Bowl act + her Trump meltdown got her free promo worldwide.

So you can't blame anyone or say there's lack of promo. People who wanted to check her new album, checked it and that's all.

The album is not bad, slightly disorganized yes, somewhat clichéd at certain instances (I'm looking at you "Sinner's Prayer" x "Diamond Heart"), but far from bad. Better than ARTPOP and The Fame, maybe even better than Born This Way; Joanne is not a bad album unless you have a vendetta against country/folk influences :madge:

It's even worse than ARTPOP. ARTPOP was A mess and production was so bland and empty, but there were some songs what had SOME single potential (wouldn't be smashes but would do ok on the radio)

And girl...I understand that you like this album but trashing masterpiece that is The Fame... :madge:

I don't have any "vendetta" against country/folk. Also I would rather say it's more rock/folk with a bit of country sound. It's just that structure of these songs are bad, every song feel flat and just goes nowhere. Also the way she pronounce some words on this album is so awful.

So yeah.
