That was maybe the most pompous and embarrassing thing I have ever seen someone post. Kind of sad that someone think being known on a random social entertainment forum gives them the right to assume all righteous power and the right to talk down to you. Laughable how void people's lives must be i clicked and still have no idea

Lion Heart 15,041
I read that there's only ~73K illegals currently in prison for serious crimes. I'm sure it won't be that difficult to deport those. But what about the other 1.9 Million? Is that even possible? I know people like to point out that the Obama admin "deported the most in history" but those stats are misleading because it includes the ones who were apprehended at the border and turned away. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
DeleteMyAccount 11,881
We should just all leave the country and give it back to the Natives. But like others have stated, this isn't an easy job and Trump is making it seem like it can be done in one day. That's why he was elected. If he's deporting criminals who pose a real threat, than great. But his administration is going to be messy about this and throw out vague numbers and policies, then there's a shitstorm waiting for them on the other side. Additionally, if we're on the subject of cracking down on criminal activity (illegal or legal), why don't we go after those who are here legally and commit hate crimes/etc? I can see how undocumented immigrant crimes are bad, but why are we stopping there? There's plenty of crimes happening around the country today that either go unanswered or simply given a warning. I think there need to be more accountability is multiple areas, not just with undocumented immigrants.
ilocorB 548
When will people understand that borders are a imaginative thing created by humans and that no one or no place is better than the other ?!

Economy 52,844
Uhhhhhhhh instant economic contraction. These people work and consume you know. So much for Trumps 4% annual GDP Growth He better deport them reaaaaaaaaaaaaaly slowly and gradually to avoid shocks I agree to an extent to deportation. You cant be lax and just accept anyone, theres a process people are suppostu go thru and many people cheated and took shortcuts Still sad tho for the people in their positions cause many were kinda desperate when they force themselves into wealthier Nations

Unless someone is a recognised citizen, they don't have the benefits and security of being one. I'm all for asylum seekers and people who migrate legally but illegal immigrants pose a real danger to themselves, they can be stung by anyone at anytime and have nothing to fall back on. Most people in the US aren't for open borders, but they also know immigrants who have been here for decades. Immigrants were allowed to stay here for decades and many of them are in college, have college degrees, have had steady jobs for years, pay taxes, own homes and are productive and law abiding members of their communities. It's going to seem awfully inhuman to deport Grandma or Grandpa, who came over to live their last days in a safe place and with their family...or to deport a young adult who was brought here as a baby or toddler and has never known anything but the US as their home. Got denied citizenship when I was 10 because I apparently wasn't good enough. I stayed, pay my due taxes (unlike Trump, btw) and go to college for my engineering degree. I don't do ANYTHING considered illegal. Yet, Trump paints me as one of those "illegals" that are "rapists and thieves," yet here I am, paying my due taxes, going through the system, attaining an education, but I'm still a "criminal." So, with all due respect, please **** off. No offense, but if you are in the US illegally then you have no right to be there. KANYEWEST.COM
