The era isn't done!? a song recorded 5 years ago and a live recording of la vie en rose is hardly reason for her to go promote that at all. the superbowl and more to come. she's having her moment with the election but she will eventually get back to work hopefully soon.

How can it be over when there is a major performance next week?

I think you may have the wrong artist/album era. Joanne is not over.

it's a mess right now due to the single swap and politics but gaga's got major promo heading for the fall / winter cycle: AMA's, SMAP, VS Show and most importantly the Superbowl!

This 100x

No offense, but I never fail to be amazed at how jaded some people are in this 'fanbase'. It hasn't even been a month since the album has been released and the second single has pretty much just been impacting radio.

Yeah, recently she's been sidetracked by politics. Admittedly, I wasn't always a fan of her being too invested in it, but she's putting work into something that's bigger than her music. Something that'll impact a lot more people, and she shouldn't be faulted for that. IMO, atleast.

The election has everyone in a weird place right now, including Gaga. She'll get back to promoting.

It's not like she's been in hiding though. She got a ton of promo at the Clinton rally last week & made headlines with her voting outfit.

People are scared because MR is hardly getting any support from radio, while Adele and Rihanna's fourth singles are getting a lot more airplay. And the song is out of the top 200 on spotify. Honestly, they have every reason to worry. Gaga has to do something groundbreaking to fix this. And quick.
