Oh yes, K-Pop is always a few years ahead of trends and great productions compare to North America. I find, visually always pretty to watch :music::oprah:

BIGBANG and 2NE1 are relly well recieved. and I like them both BIGBANG was the first group I liked. CL (2NE1's lead singer) is putting out a debut EP soon in English look for "Hello Bitches" and "lifted" from her. F (x) , T-ara, Super Junior, ICON to name a few. im still a casual listener but to what it seems J-Pop are larger groups 7-10 girls and they put out more mid tempo songs than K-pop...I might be wrong but from my research ive found this

J-Pop : Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Perfume, Kyary Pamy Pamyu, BABYMETAL

K-pop : 2NE1, BIGBANG, SNSD, F(x), T-Ara, SISTAR, BLACKPINK. I'd recommend Lim Kim if you want an "indie" k-pop sound.

I like dancin', and ponies....
