If he doesn't do something against LGBT rights conservtive Christians will not be happy. And yes they do want to take away your rights. My pastor voted for Trump because he thinks he will work against gay marriage and will pass laws that will make it legal to deny service someone based on sexual orientation. The real reason was to unite the Republican Party before the convention. Ultra Conservatives didnt like Trump because he was pro gay for almost his entire life and pro abortion his entire life. He did change his posisition on abortion, when he ran for president, but I still believe in his heart, he is pro choice since he has literally always been. He also chose Pence because of his success in economics. He lowered taxes and still brought his state into a surplus. He doesn't see it as a pressing issue- he sees it as something Americans need to shut up about and get over. The question is though, if conservatives push him enough, will he give into them for the appraise?
