He pledged to sign the bigoted legislation in the article I posted, I don't care what he said years ago, I care what he's saying now and right now, he's getting ready to crush the gays.

I really don't think he will crush any of your rights. He has always been pro gay. Lets see what he does during his first 100 Days

It's not my rights, if they were I'd be a little less pissed. They're the rights of people I care about, my friends in high school who are just starting in the world and they're gonna start with this.

He said he was gonna pass that law that I quoted, unless he was lying, he's gonna do it.

Trump would never allow that to happen, it would be the end of the Republican Party which they wouldn't want to happen. He supports equality of gays, he has his entire life. I am not part of the LGBT Community, but if you are, do not worry. You will always be allowed to marry under a Trump presidency, the supreme court and himself, have more important issues than this.

"Caitlyn Jenner can use any bathroom she wants."

"We need the same protection for gay couples, just like any other American"

It's not about him supporting the gays personally. This is about the power that he has and the favors that he may or may not fulfill as a result of his presidency. Congress will be controlled by Republicans in both the House and Senate, and Trump's shortlist of candidates for the Supreme Court are all conservatives last time I checked

The issue, and my biggest fear, mainly lies with the Supreme Court, in my opinion. If the Court becomes a majority of conservative Republicans, that could see the jurisdiction of same-sex marriage given back to each individual state which means generally conservative states will see same-sex marriage getting repealed unless an Amendment to the Constitution is ratified beforehand, which it doesn't seem that will happen soon

Like, Plessy v. Ferguson established the "separate but equal" doctrine, if I recall which pretty much paved the way for Segregation to be a constitutional right. That decision was deemed unconstitutional by Brown v. Board of Education. What this means is any law or policy, regardless of its apparent discriminatory or non-discriminatory nature, can be deemed unconstitutional, meaning all the we have fought for in terms of socially progressive policies can be deemed unconstitutional and be eradicated or hindered severely

That's such an insensitive and ignorant thing to say. You shouldn't have said anything at all instead of writing this and clicking on post.

Don't read my words in a hateful way.  By needing help I meant it sincerely.  It's irrational to want to commit suicide for this reason.

Trump said HIMSELF he doesn't care about Pence's views. He said he picked him for his experience in different aspects.

he may have a good intention but it will probably bring  some bad effects after all.:laughga:
I mean .......I agree that those protests are pointless, but we have already known that
most of LGBTQ haters, racists and  chauvinists are Trump's supporters(I'm not saying most of his  supporters are bad guys because I know it's not true)
we all know the consequences of Brexit, it's hard to believe the U.S would be any better.
He is not as dumb as he act but it's true that he kept spreading hatred and enmity during the presidential election to seek attentions, and it will definitely bring the social conflicts to the next level.

sorry I'm not trying to drag you, trust me.
but I don't believe there's any rational reason to commit suicide:toofunny:
the intention of trying to commit suicide itself is irrational in my opinion.
