She does extremely well with independents and she reaches the progressive audience that Hillary Clinton failed to reach. Clinton won the popular vote, the problem isn't that the US is too right wing, the problem is that Clinton couldn't fire up progressives enough to vote for her and she was deeply unpopular among Republicans and Independents. Elizabeth Warren has already shown numerous times that she can energize progressives, she is well respected among moderate Democrats, she is popular with independents and she is one of the most liked Democrats among Republicans.
