Because its the first time in eight years someone they didn't want to win won. :toofunny: They were fine when Obama won.

Also, the electoral vote matched the popular vote. You left that out.

Majority of the electoral college, excuse my lack of clarity on that comment

Okay but the electoral college has had to go for 16 years so there is no time like the present.

Yeah trying to fight for the future of your country and safety is super embarrassing, you're right.

What is there to fight for? Nothing has been taken away. All this is rash temper tantrums that Saint Hillary didn't win the election. Come back to be in a year or so when Trump actually does something to harm America and then we'll talk. Jesus, and dems wonder why everyone sees them as sore losers. :toofunny:

I did not say I was protecting you. I'm not out there right now protesting, but I'm not admonishing others for doing. Also, if you really want someone or at least something to blame for the the travesties you and your family have endured, it all stems back to around the time of the Gulf War, well before Hillary's time

Also, Trump is what I accused him of, I'm not sure why you're protecting someone who has spoken about being so anti-immigration and anti-refugee. On the basis of Trump's campaign, you're aunt would not be wanted in the US and that's absolutely disheartening that a campaign would express such an idea. You truly don't realize the veracity of this election and what it may entail for plenty of Americans

You said these people are protecting me while im sitting in home and you also said you would go out there but you are busy. I do not blame Hilary or anyone for what is happening in the Middle East, I only blame us Arabs and Muslims for accepting all this for decades and still doing the same mistakes but I also wont support someone who is involved in criminal acts specially when it comes to my family. Also, I never said Hilary is the reason, I said she is involved in these crimes. Its scary how you dont deny any of these accusations of Hilary that are about crime and supporting terrorists yet you still support her and cant oppose someone who said some sexist jokes!

I am not protecting Trump, I am just stating facts and trying to show people how hypocritical they are.. Trump is not anti immigration or refugees, he is anti ILLEGALS. My aunt entering the US is not a human right but it is a human right issue when you are involved in crime and killing people and if it wasnt for Hilary, she wouldnt be asking Trump to let her into the country.

I'm just saying that these people do have a cause and what's left for them too lose? They might as well try.

I agree 150%, they have the right, but I find it wiser to put more effort into finding a better candidate for the 2020 election rather than worrying about an election that is done

I was just pointing out that the protesters aren't just protesting for nothing, they actually have a goal and their attitude is "we have nothing else to lose, we might as well try"

i admire them and stand with them. A few days ago it was considered delusional to think Trump would win,

I'm sure they all read that Tumblr post:ladyhaha:

They don't have the power to change who the states voted for

"

The electors are appointed by the political parties in each state, so if you vote for Donald J. Trump on Tuesday, and Mr. Trump ends up winning the popular vote in your state, then electors that the Republican Party has chosen will cast votes for him in their state capitals in December.

The electors are asked to cast their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December. This year, that’s Dec. 19." - NYT

It's a done deal, Trump won.

Please don't fight Fay :(

I totally get where you're coming from. As an Arab and a Muslim myself, I know for a fact Hilary is crooked. She supports countries and organizations that I don't and should not support. But if I were an American I would still vote Hilary. Trump is a dark dark dark man.

I don't know what he'll do to America, but I really hope it isn't the vision he boasted about all these months ago.

I've been angry and passionate all day, but I really think we should all stick together. Not just muslims with muslims arabs with arabs, or democratic with democratic. But all of us. Human with human.

Stay safe wherever you are.

Much love

I agree with you completely on that last sentence. Most of the US do want a progressive country, but many also want a new form of government, one not so corrupt morally and based in corrupt politics, Hillary Clinton in every meaning of the word is corrupt. She's been in politics far too long and spent 8 years in the White House already. Her experience, while making her very intelligent, has corrupted her. That's what people saw and see in Donald Trump, he's not a politician, he's a businessman of several decades, he brings success to large corporations, and obviously the college saw that.

Everyone should just chill and spread the love. Give Donald Trump the chance you want him to give you as the American people under his government and see how he does. If he fails, by all means, dislike him and find a great candidate for 2020 and "trump" him out of office

Oh so all  minorities and people who support them should just be harrassed by his supporters? We know that he is going to be president but we aren't gonna sit and let the minorities be discriminated against. This is what these protests, for me, is about. It gives us strength to stand up for what is right and not be taken advantage of. And yes, the discrimination has already started.

Well, they have 4 years to do that, they can spend the time from now until Decmeber (19th I think?) trying this.

Plus, we already good, popular candidates to run in 2020. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would make great picks.

It's a done deal, Trump won.

It's not done until the fat lady sings.

And the fat lady is singing on the 19th of December.

If we are unhappy we're not gonna sit around and twiddle our damn thumbs.

There is no time like the present.
