The elector, largely Republican may I add, is not going to change their view because of a movement largely focused on the Internet. Allowing citizens to dispute an already final election where the majority chose Donald Trump goes against anything in the constitution. Also, people were going to very upset either way, the college realizes that

Riots breaking out over a democartically elected tyrant is a sign of good mental health. I wish riots like those would have broken out in my country 70 years ago when they democratically elected a tyrant.

I feel so bad for everyone here who live in the US :( This election truly was a slap in the face for every minority

It is really disheartning to see that perhaps we havent advanced as much as we think in terms of social justice.

Must be nice to have nothing better to do than parade around the streets chanting. This is just embarrassing

I'm just saying that these people do have a cause and what's left for them too lose? They might as well try.

Don't be delusional, Trump is the next president of the United States and will be inaugurated on January 20, 2017.

I was just pointing out that the protesters aren't just protesting for nothing, they actually have a goal and their attitude is "we have nothing else to lose, we might as well try"

i admire them and stand with them. A few days ago it was considered delusional to think Trump would win,

Electoral colleges don't officially vote until the 19th.  There's a chance that those who have been elected to vote in the electoral college can vote against their party.  While very few cases have happened, it is still worth a shot for our voices to be hear.  I hope these electoral officials are reviewing all scenarios and possibilities, and see that Trump and Pence, who are outrageously bigoted and conservative, are not the people who should run a country whose people want a progressive country.  Move forward, not back.

I agree with you completely on that last sentence. Most of the US do want a progressive country, but many also want a new form of government, one not so corrupt morally and based in corrupt politics, Hillary Clinton in every meaning of the word is corrupt. She's been in politics far too long and spent 8 years in the White House already. Her experience, while making her very intelligent, has corrupted her. That's what people saw and see in Donald Trump, he's not a politician, he's a businessman of several decades, he brings success to large corporations, and obviously the college saw that.

Everyone should just chill and spread the love. Give Donald Trump the chance you want him to give you as the American people under his government and see how he does. If he fails, by all means, dislike him and find a great candidate for 2020 and "trump" him out of office

This could be vital in the protesters effort, it gives their cause more weight

What they think they're accomplishing idk. An election cannot be redone, a president cannot be impeached prior to even being inaugurated without being unconstitutional, which is even worse than they think Trump being elected is

The best thing for democrats to do right now is to give the man a chance and regather themselves and find a better candidate for 2020 and just try to work the best they can with what they have. Trump is EVERYONE in the US's president, and if one doesn't like that, they can protest without success or move

Hillary has been nothing g but gracious to Trump, and I admire her much more than I thought I would for that, but Democrats are making themselves look like unconstitutional crybabies

I agree, all this does is make liberals look like sore losers and cry babies. The deed has been done, deal with it.
