I want her to but I honestly worry for her safety whenever she shows her activism.

As long as it's a pro-love and tolerance and not anti-Trump I'm down for it.

Well, I'm sure all the "freedom of speech" folks would be totally in support...

But no. The halftime show should be about her. UNLESS, something happens in the country in which like 95% disagrees with. Then she could probably say something. But she's going to be performing for Republicans at the halftime show. At least the ones in the stadium. She doesn't need that extra backlash.

She will make political statement(s), but only if it's beneficial and promotes the greater good. Black Lives Matter, W LGBTQ+ rights, pro-love, pro-choice etc. I believe Gaga is smart enough to know that spreading awareness, love, positive messages will bring about a more rewarding effect for everyone than to spread negativity and hate. :staymad:

I don't actually hate PI

Considering the recent tragic election results,Should Gaga do something controversial at the Superbowl? Will NFL allow it? :unicorn:

Post your thoughts :unicorn:

I wouldn't mind.

She probably will through 'Angel Down' and 'Born This Way'. I think that was the plan regardless, but this gives the woman incentive.

Will it even be safe for her to do so by the time she tries?

Yes but subtle :D

I don't want her to be direct about it as if her opinion matters to viewers because viewers will not only be her fans :)

This is a really interesting point in her career. She won many back by appealing to traditional American aesthetics sonically & visually (am i lana dem rey?) without giving up her progressive nature and values. The Superball can be everything. I feel like it was supposed to make her America's darling, but an artist, every person in fact, depends on their contemporary circumstances, and Gaga has never been the one to be ignorant of those. I'm intrigued to see whether she will use the Superball as a statement, a positioning and a symbol instead of batting her eyes and gaining cheers from everyone. I will not judge her if she doesn't use this chance, but I will never forget she did this if she decides to close the chapter of trying to appeal.

REALITY

She might, to be honest. Gaga was obvious very, very, very passionate about this election. And, the whole world is stunned that we let this buffoon win the Presidency, it may be more subtle than "Love Trumps Hate" or something, but I think she'll make some sort of statement.
