And now that Singapore's next president is set to be Malay, I'm really look forward to see how this goes... :madge: (spoiler: it would be dumb)

The presidency is no longer based on meritocracy. It was basically a political move to stop one of the strong opponents, who is a Chinese, to run for the next election.

Also noteworthy is the last sentence of his congratulatory post, which indicates that this Muslim Prime Minister has met Trump before.

Wow, what he says is soooo on point. I experienced an epiphany.

"But like the Brexit referendum in June, Mr Trump’s victory is part of a broader pattern in developed countries – reflecting a deep frustration with the way things are, and a strong wish to reassert a sense of identity, and somehow to change the status quo"

There is a growing trend against politicians who want to keep status quo.

Wtf is wrong with this guy? Trump should blacklisted internationally. He's a disgrace to America.

Theres a time to be diplomatic and then there's time not too, this is the second one.
