Bear 7,515
I'm sorry to my american friends, I don't think anyone here particularly wanted this outcome. On the plus side if Trump does miserably as a president in the next four years it may reduce the number of republican voters, while the DNC has time to get their act together. DontDoubtDavid 1,196
I feel Trump has been "all talk" in his campaign. Maybe it's me being an optimist, but when he runs, I'm hoping he can at least apologize. I hope his business experience, even though not political, can fix the economy, or lead it in the right direction. Financial stability for my/America's future is all I'm really hoping for, and hopefully an increase in jobs (because it's a torturous struggling finding one). It's heartbreaking that minorities will suffer under a republican administration . However, people should never be forced to have to vote for the lesser evil in order to prevent someone else from becoming president. People want to vote for the correct choice, someone like Bernie. Stop treating them like fools and expecting them to toe the party line. These people probably opted to not vote or vote for a 3rd party. I hope this serves as a lesson to the DNC. This is bullshit. You're acting like only amoral idiots voted for Hillary, which isn't true. I get that there are major problem with American politics, but it was clear that Donald Trump was going to totally derail any of the forward movement the Obama administration started. So yeah, don't act like you're taking the moral high ground by not voting for Hillary. What I also don't get is that you endorse people like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, but when they themselves endorse Hillary Clinton, you still refuse to vote for her. I'm not a politician, so one of my MOs when making political decisions is to defer to the people whose intentions I trust. I don't know everything about Hillary Clinton, but I trust Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who I feel know a great deal about her policy and intentions, which is why I decided to vote for Hillary.
