I love you gaga, through thick and thin, but please tone this **** down.

She is getting a tad too political with this hillary campaign.

I'm pretty sure she chose this outfit because it was very similar to the one MJ wore when he met Trump.

So the people who whine about everything being "too PC" and how people are "too offended these days" are raising a stink about this? Got it.

I don't think it was coincidental that Gaga chose to wear an outfit that happened to look like a Nazi uniform. It was intentional. I just can't figure out the agenda though. What the **** is she doing?

I love Gaga's music and support her as an artist but she's involved in their dodgy shenanigans now and being used as a puppet. She should have stayed the hell away and stuck to making art.

The outfit is what Michael wore when he visited the White House in 1990. I think she wore it to the Hillary rally for two reasons- 1) In honor of Michael, so a part of him could be present for a significant moment in history where we might elect the first female president, and 2) to shade Donald (see posts below).

Well this is something i found on tumblr
"Donald Trump is a huge fan of Michael Jackson and loves to show off his photos with the late pop legend, so Gaga decided to wear one of Michael’s iconic jackets while promoting Hillary Clinton at the Democratic nominee’s final pre-election rally in Raleigh, North Carolina.”

And it's the exact outfit he wore when he visited the White House 16 years ago. I think that was Gaga's biggest determining factor, tbh.

It looks alike because it's black and there is a red armband (one of the biggest signatures of MJ), I agree. But there's nothing 'Nazi' about MJ/Gaga her outfit?

Gaga should have known better than to wear that while promoting Hillary and politics alone, it's like she wanted to make that conclusion. It's just too easy, no matter if Gaga meant it or not.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

It's MJ's outfit that he wore to the White House as another user has already mentioned. Stop believing all conspiracy theories.

Other users also mentioned MJ might have had an interest in the Nazi, but that in of itself is a rumor, but Gaga wearing an MJ outfit is NOT.

It's... literally an MJ outfit.

I mean, yes it shares similarities to some fascist uniform aesthetics, but the biggest point is that it is literally an MJ outfit.

It's problematic though, no matter if Republicans call her out for this. Supporting her choice of that jacket is harmful and a slap in the face of anyone who suffered under the Nazis.

I'm shocked that so many people in this thread defend Gaga. If she were a similiar thing to a Kukux-Clan, everyone would loose their mind. Got it.

The first thing I thought of when I seen that jacket was how unfortunate the red band was, even if it is MJ's. Obviously Gaga isn't promoting or supporting any form of Nazism but the band is unfortunate as it was such a huge part of Nazi imagery :emma:

I don't think it's too much of a big deal though.

I was pointing out that it's hypocritical for Trump supporters to say people are "too PC" and our generation is a bunch of crybabies who need thicker skin to look at what Gaga was wearing and get up in arms over it. Their candidate has disrespected a whole slew of individuals and promoted hate, yet they want to claim Gaga is trying to look like a Nazi even though she's talking about peace, supporting people of all races, and singing about the world coming together?

I will say I believe Gaga should have worn something else, but that doesn't change the fact that Trump's camp being bothered by Gaga's well-intentioned outfit is hypocritical of them.
