Why is “Hey Girl" so underrated?

It's one of the album highlights, it has this jazzy smooth rnb vibe like music from Sade. Love that song  It could be a single.

I think its overrated, I was really looking forward to the song, but was very very disappointed when I heard it. Its a sold song, but I just had expectations way higher.

LOVE Hey Girl! It's like So Happy I Could Die... the harp is so beautiful. Only complaint is I wish she collaborated with somebody else. Their voices are just to similar.

I like it, but I have to admit it's not one of my favorites... Mainly because I had high expectations, and it turned out to be something completely different than I imagined. I expected something dramatic and faster, instead we got a laid back tune with a great message.

Not The Real Gaga

I love "Hey Girl"; it a really sweet, but powerful "being-lazy-and-just-chilling" song. Not really that special, but the vocals are amazing!

I love Florence, and Hey Girl is one of my favorite songs off of Joanne.

But I can't help but think she missed an opportunity by not having someone like Katy or Madonna on the song. I don't like Katy or Madonna, but it would have been a more impact gesture of women standing together and not needing to "one up each other" had she collaborated with someone who she was actually perceived to be in competition with.

katy absolutely not but madonna YES

but we all know that's never gonna happen :madge:

The song is great and their voice compliment each other in a classy way. It's a lovely ballad and it's great to see it's not a diva show off.

Pink flamingos always fascinated me.

Not only is it my favorite track from Joanne its actually among my top ten Lady Gaga songs of all time. Unlike what the embarrassingly basic members of this site think, its message is amazing, its production pristine, and of course there's simply no one as amazing as Florence Welch that Gaga could have collaborated with. :golfclap: Will be a crime if this doesn't get a single treatment.
