Gaga, Bieber, and twenty one pilots all win 2 gongs

  

JUSTIN Bieber and Lady Gaga topped the award winners at this year’s MTV EMA’s after a smashing year of new music – knocking front-runners Beyonce and Adele completely in shock results.

Beyonce and Adele had the most amount of nominations ahead of tonight’s ceremony – but were pipped to the post by their competitors and ended up empty-handed.Justin and Gaga tied with upcoming artists TwentyOne Pilots and Martin Garrix to bag two awards each and almost completely sweeping the awards between them.

Little Mix were also awarded Best UK and Ireland act after a hit year of pop tunes including their Zayn Malik inspired dumping tune Shout Out To My Ex – while Zayn failed to be nominated for any of the night’s awards.
