This is our country on the line here in less than 48 hours. She really DOESN'T need to "chill the f out".

Not just the country, the whole world

If there has ever been a time that Gaga should use her voice and get involved, its this one

I respect your opinion but as for your last statement I can say the same for you. She doesn't care about us :( and it's sad that she's using us and nobody sees it. Diversity is her tool to get money. The more deaths and hate crimes that includ the gay and black community the more she benefits from it. :(

i cant acept being used

So you're going to vote for the guy with the running mate that advocates for conversion therapy?

For the guy who:

wants to jail his opponent without due process

wants to be friends with Russia (and thinks they actually care about getting rid of ISIS)

divides people based on race, gender and wealth

evades taxes

makes demeaning comments towards women and uses his power as excuse for his sexual harassment and assault

actively tries to degrade the foundation of free press

freely admits he will not accept the election results if he does not win.

This man has all of the qualities of a dictator and he's ~this~ close to leading the most powerful country in the world. A country that prides itself on spreading democracy to other countries. Which is why it's so frustrating for us outsiders to watch this hypocrisy. You'll be single-handedly challenging the foundations of democracy around the world if you let this man win.

I can't tell you enough that Hillary's personal agenda, her emails, and her history with Bill Clinton and the DNC have absolutely nothing on the terror Donald Trump will bring.

Wake the **** up.

Thank you for supporting reversing marriage equality and the religious freedom law that will affect us all, Hillary vowed to get rid of gay conversion therapy, crazy, right?

We really appreciate it! #MAGA

It's erroneous and dangerously divisive to label tens of millions of people as racists, sexists, etc. simply because they're voting for the opposition. It's bad enough when the media does it, but for the woman who could very well be the president to these people to disown them under hyperbolic false pretence is far worse.

Yes, half of Trump supporters are racist.

You were saying?

What do you mean?

She called racists deplorable. How can you read that as labeling? All she did was call actually racists, deplorable.

Are you racists? Then Hillary called you deplorable. Are you not racists? Then Hillary didn't call you deplorable.  It's actually pretty simple, so how are you reading into it in any other way? I'm genuinely interested, because the way you are reading it is quite different from reality.

There's absolutely no evidence of that in this article. Another embarrassingly biased and divisive hit job by the media, it reads like a blog post.

LOL! Holy ****. So The American National Election Studies and scientific research done by the Washington post is "absolutely no evidence" and a "bias hit job"?

You sound exactly like a mindless Trump voter.

Her tweet sounds so dumb. Saying Trump "divided us". We divided ourselves by allowing these two people to be the main ones running for president. :toofunny:

its not like we really had a choice though did we. trump had the money, hillary had the delegates. at least she's right in the sense that trump's fear mongering and constant scape-goating of other groups and foreigners is what's dividing us because it is. its a poisonous mind set.

She said half of Trump's supporters, aka about a quarter of the voting populace.

Okay, I'm not sure what that fact has to do with the fact that Hillary only called racists/sexists/xenophobes deplorable.

The ANES study is based on the 2012 election, not the current one. Let's say for arguments sake that their sample size is representative of the entire white American population (impossible), and let's say that every white person who scored blacks lower on their test is automatically a racist, also impossible as there are plenty of reasons as to why they might have scored blacks lower on their test besides racial prejudice (socioeconomic for instance). That would mean that just over a quarter of white Republican voters in 2012 were racist, and just under a quarter of Dem voters in 2012 were racist, which would mean that the actual number of racist Republican voters in 2012 was far below half even before you factor in other demographics.

As for the second one, "In June, the Pew Research Center found that 79 percent of Clinton voters believe the treatment of racial and ethnic minorities is an important issue, while only 42 percent of Trump supporters feel that way."

Besides this being a poor measure of "racism", it's also dangerously susceptible to error with sample size once again and factors such as sample composition.

If a majority of sampled Clinton voters are minorities, then they would be more likely to rank the treatment of minorities high on their list, whereas if the Trump voters were more predominantly non-minorities, they would be less likely to, there is no demographic information given. There are countless reasons to vote for a candidate. Medicare, the economy, foreign policy, etc. Many are just party loyalists. Not having the treatment of minorities high on your list is hilariously poor qualification to call someone a racist.

I'm not a Trump supporter, I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy. You're OK with Hillary using divisive language and attempt to validate it with erroneous statistics, but when Trump says that, for instance, there are criminals illegally crossing the Mexican border, something that can actually be qualified with real stats, it's racist and unacceptably divisive.

Yeah I totally just wasted a minute I'll never get back reading this bs. The fact that you can't identify blatant racism makes this conversation even worse. Just... wow.
