That J

Well I'm wearing my physical copy out and that's not even including my digital.   Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

And? On few songs she sings about being heartbroken, on other she sings about masturbating, on another she is all good with some other girl and so on. I know her middle name is also Joanne, but this album is so about her and not her dead aunt. To be honest, when i heard she dedicated this album to her dead aunt, this is not what i expected (minus the song Joanne).

It's not that i don't love it, but it absolutely doesn't makes sense to me.

It's not like she was supposed to sing about her aunt on every song on the album. One is enough

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

I used to listen to it a lot in the car, not so much anymore. However I'm always glad to watch new performances..

You aren't making a mistake or committing a sin if you aren't as interested in Gaga and her music as you were before  Gaga's also not making a mistake or committing a sin if some fans aren't as interested in her or her music as before :laughga: It's just a case of something not connecting as well with some as it does others. While some may not really be into Joanne at all and may be over it, there are others that are die hard loving it and have become fans because of it :woot:

Even as a fan, you're not forced to like the work or actions of the person you're a fan of. You become a fan because of the work or actions  Gaga will release future albums and they might be something that you enjoy more than Joanne so don't think that Gaga releasing music that you like as much as her previous stuff isn't a possibility  It's music at the end of the day, there are many many many artists out there and there will definitely be things being released that you will love - it's just a case of going out there and finding it :flutter:

Of course not, but one would expect more songs about life, struggles and death then 2 songs.

Diamond Heart would have been a much better title for the album, cause it's about her struggle per se, and her love to Taylor.

Same, I listened to it more than other music recently, but not even close compared to BTW or even ARTPOP.

REALITY

It actually has the opposite affect on me. I've been listening to it nonstop, I just love this album so much :)

I will say, though, that I definitely play more songs than others. For example, Sinner's Prayer and Joanne are probably my least played songs, but I still love them both, I just love others more than those ones.

Joanne was released two weeks ago and it's already getting old to me. Don't get me wrong, I like every song on the album, but now the only song I listen to is Perfect Illusion. I'm actually really concerned because i've always loved Gaga's music to death, but Joanne is just so different. Not that I don't like different, I mean different in the way that the songs seem like they are lacking something. I can't put my finger on what it is. I guess the best way to put it is I feel like the songs lack that extra "oomph" that all of her previous album's have, besides The Fame. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I miss Gaga's rage and power, and it's toned down in Joanne, which is very understandable.

Don't stone me. I just want to see what you guys have to say

I will never understand your feeling , I love her so much that I will say" HEY it's fvcking masterpiece" even if she just fart in front of me:laughga:
although I want to see her dancing with those crazy outfits again, it would be really stupid if she just release another ARTPOP/TFM stuff after all these performances she made in Oscar and Grammy ceremony.
Don't get me wrong, I love ARTPOP more than Joanne, but GP will prefer this Gaga better  (Joanne is the only Gaga's album that I dare to play it in front of my parents, and they have no idea it's her album:gaycat:)
this album will definitely extent her career's longevity no matter you like it or not
if you guys want to unstan her ,then go ahead
I'm sure you will all repent after her superbowl performance and beg for her forgiveness :whitney:

EDIT: OKAY I need to confess my sins....I always fall asleep while joanne is playing:laughga:(and I have insomnia issue)
so I play it every night before I go to sleep and it improves my sleeping quality a lot:giveup: maybe you just haven't found the right way to love this album.

Spoiler

don't forgive those ungrateful rats:icega: it's time to clarify who's your true fans Gaga:staymad:

Of course that's fine! I also haven't listened to Joanne as much as I listened to BTW after its release. However, it shouldn't mean you're not interested in the album, or that you don't like it. For me, I know that the very simple reason is: I grew up. BTW came out more than five years ago, I was younger, and since then I got interested to a lot of new artists that I love today. I also matured in the sense that I'm able to not overplay an album simply because I like it, and actually take the time to appreciate its quality on every listen.

I'm sure that's also the case for a lot of people here.
