I'm actually really enjoying the album and era

sorry you guys aren't feeling it as much. It all just comes down to personal taste I guess lmao.

This. I've still got the full album on repeat, only occasionally skipping "Angel Down (Work Tape)."

I listen to it everyday.

I think your problem and other people's problem with the album is the lack of Gaga's presence in the pop scene. Once Million Reasons gets a video, radio picks it up, and Gaga performs it over the next month your opinion will change. The same thing happened with ARTPOP, except she didn't pick the era back up until 3 months later and it was too late.

I'm actually on the verge of overplaying the album. It's ridiculous.

Me too

It's the only song I dislike, I think her vocals sound too rough

Sounds like the exact same stuff a lot of people said right after ARTPOP released.

Not all music is an instant addiction. :classy:

I'm not gon lie I was a bit disappointed with this album it lacks a few things for me. But I have been listening to it ever since it leaked(just always skip grigio girls):whitney:. But I do love it just wish she did more Visually fashion wise I wished she included more GAGA because Joanne resonates with Gaga. I wont hype myself so much maybe that's why I was a bit disappointed. I really pray and hope a Joanne Extended play comes with everything she knows we've been asking for.

I think that people are feeling this way, because even while we have so much going on and still to come with Gaga, there is just no hype this time around. It feels like we are living in it and enjoying, but everything is just coming and going so quickly and it feels like being in a private club or a cave that we are exclusively attending, as a standom.

That kinda suits Gaga's private dive bar performances, maybe Gaga is willing this era to feel this way exactly.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I stopped forcing myself into liking the album. I love Gaga, but Joanne is simply boring. And it is shocking, because once I listen to it enough, I can be addicted to pretty much any albums in any genre. I get it, it is a different musical direction, but just like the OP said, every song lacks something... For me, I don't feel the passion, the energy, the drive that made me love Gaga's art in the first place. It is just not exciting. Also, there is not really a single worthy song on the album, and you guys thinking any of these tracks would do well on charts are just dellusional. I'm happy some of you enjoy this era, but it is more than understandable that most of us don't.

Million Reasons is doing quite well on the charts. I mean, it's not like only the songs you like are going to do well

I will say that Gaga kind of payed dust to PI with that music video. It's cool at least. The video could have been so spooky and haunting, I feel like that would have been a better fit than the "let's just rock out" vibe Gaga was going for.

I thought that I was going to appreciate the song once the we had visuals for it but it did the opposite. It's not terrible but it's definitely bland. I expected better from Gaga and Ruth.
