I'm worried about my standom

Joanne was released two weeks ago and it's already getting old to me. Don't get me wrong, I like every song on the album, but now the only song I listen to is Perfect Illusion. I'm actually really concerned because i've always loved Gaga's music to death, but Joanne is just so different. Not that I don't like different, I mean different in the way that the songs seem like they are lacking something. I can't put my finger on what it is. I guess the best way to put it is I feel like the songs lack that extra "oomph" that all of her previous album's have, besides The Fame. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I miss Gaga's rage and power, and it's toned down in Joanne, which is very understandable.

Don't stone me. I just want to see what you guys have to say

I agree. But the era is really fun so far and I'm still waiting for more music videos and tour.

I miss her pop eras

Not sure if it's because I'm too busy with midterms but, despite loving Joanne, I haven't listened to it nearly as much as I did to her past albums when they were released.

I have been listening to it less, but just because I overplayed it the firsy week, so I'm letting it rest for a moment to be slayed again, just like I do with every album

I kinda feel the same :poot:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Same, i'm busy with school and work also. I expanded my music horizon a lot in the past two years as well. I guess it's just part of growing up.

I agree with you, I only listen to A-YO and Perfect Ilusion now, and I've only listened to Hey Girls like 3 times...

It's definitely not as exciting as ARTPOP era in terms of performances fashion etc. but I really like the music

maybe you're just not really into rock? Cuz I love rock and so I automatically like the classic rock influence on joanne

Joanne is my favorite pop album in a long time, but I still make sure not to over play it so I don't get sick of it.

At first I just played it non-stop, but now I try to limit it to twice daily.

Oh nooo, a lot of the music I listen to is rock!! I really would not call Joanne a rock album just because it has some guitars in there.

I will admit, I haven't listened to Joanne as much as BTW post-release, but I've felt its more of a "in the moment" thing than a dislike of the album. It's just not something you can listen to 24/7 or play in any mood.
