I see it the opposite way...She tried to deliever a social message but without being personal or authentic, and cover it in dance songs.

It's like your mother trying to make you eat vegetables(social message) which you know are good for you but you don't want them, and hide them in the meat(dance songs) you love so much :P

You are definitely allowed your opinion but what do you mean by messy productions? I hear this a lot but everyone has a different say about what it means to them.

I kind of actually like the try-hard feel and it makes it campy in a way. Like the "Operation: Kill The Bitch" at the concert. I almost cried laughing the first time I saw that BUT it's iconic.

Born This Way is about Gaga being bullied and ignored. So yes, it is autobiographical but in the complicated way she was feeling at the time. With Joanne  she finally feels like a woman, not a girl anymore.

I'm so happy I got to experience it. My tour date was only a week or two before she broke her hip.

It was sad though because I knew she must have been in so much pain during my concert but NO ONE would have guessed that.

I'm a pre ARTPOP fan before that I only listened to telephone and poker face. It was all over my country and everyone knew abt it (not many know BR btw)and back then I thought gaga was some gross middle age granny . Anyways when I first listened to BTW it's clearly much much messier than her previous work it hurts my ears honestly but then I got used to it  and then came the much much much messier ARTPOP  

Why does gaga always overproduce songs ?

I'm happy gaga brought out Joanne much much cleaner sound and listening to it (not skip Ong song ) is like a amazing journey

This record is still my fave from her. All the experimentation on it really worked and came together nicely. A bit sad she didn't progress on the heavy metal opera dark sound with ARTPOP, but now BTW holds an even extra place in my heart for being 1 of a kind.

Omg I had to buy it again after losing my copy when i moved house recently, I just put it only my phone like 3 days ago and I've been listening to it non stop, probably should have done this before Joanne came out but of well. It still hits as hard as it did back in 2011, it's such a fantastic body of work! I forgot how much I loved Electric Chapel, Heavy Metal Lover and Scheiße.. Bloody Mary is still my ultimate fav though

The Fame Monster is my favorite Gaga album as a whole, but Born This Way is the only one that gives me that moment of bliss, it's so excessive and overwhelming and I love it, because in my opinion the more excessive she gets, the more honest and fantastic she sounds. There's a lot on Born This Way that may sound like a throwback from the 80's, but her take on it sounds very unique and badass.
