So then that guy calls the police and they know Angela Bassett's character is out in the woods somewhere so they go hunting for her. There's a conflict of interest though as Lee and Audrey wanted to go back to the Polk's farm to destroy evidence of the murders they did. And Lee doesn't want to go back to kill the footage of her killing ppl she wants rid of the footage of her confessing to killing Mason. Lee doesn't care about the murders. She's realized that she still has a chance to live, so she wants to get rid of the film that shows her confessing that she killed her husband.
