LibraLove 1,281
I'm not here to argue, but stuff like this happens on both sides of the aisle. A Republican HQ was firebombed in North Carolina. Black church burnings have been happening in this country for years, not just because of Trump, but because racism is still alive and very prevalent in the South (and it crosses into many different parties). Hillary is not all that great. They're both equally as bad. Just because she doesn't say absurd, mean things out loud, doesn't make her good, because her record speaks otherwise. It's filled with her supporting many things that Trump has spoken of - Racist remarks ("Super Predators" and internal emails referring to Latinos as "taco bowl engagement" and "needy"), kicking people off Welfare (she campaigned for Welfare reform, which Bill signed, that gutted welfare and dramatically impacted poor women and children of all races), she supported DOMA and DADT that Bill signed that limited LGBT rights and still has not directly said that she was in the wrong (even internal emails state that she can not bring herself to say that, because she and Bill still believe it and she can never admit she's wrong), she will continue an immigration policy that leads to terrifying night raids, separating of families and the deportation of well over 3million immigrants (more than any other President combined currently), she loves war and is barreling down a path to start a conflict with a nuclear armed Russia over Syria, when we shouldn't even be involved, and supports secretive drone use and will support the bombing of Arab/countries of color (we are currently bombing SEVEN countries with drone strikes: http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2016/oct/21/jill-stein/jill-stein-green-party-candidate-correct-about-us-/) which in turn creates more terrorism and makes us less safe. She supports the oil industry and they have heavily funded her campaigns which is why she will not take Climate Change as seriously as we need it to be taken and why she has remained virtually silent on the abuse that the Native Americans in North Dakota are facing because of the construction of a dangerous pipeline that is destroying sacred burial grounds. Say what you want, but just because what she does may not impact you here in the States (which NUCLEAR WAR with Russia over Syria most certainly will), does not make her a better option. They are both terrible candidates and terrible people with terrible records and will ruin people's lives. Luckily there are other options. Like who I voted for, Jill Stein. I encourage everyone to check out her website and her platform at http://www.jill2016.com/ before casting your vote and consider putting People, Planet and Peace Over Profit and instead of voting for a "lesser evil," vote for The Greater Good. They may have held early Democratic philosophies, but even then, they're extremists. This is the first time I've heard anything like this about Hillary. If some people are planning to assault or harass individuals on voting day, it could potentitally be safer to vote early. Well it's either going to be Hillary or Trump. And racist support is an extra bonus if Trump wins. We're voting more about what the moral ground is going to be in this country. Also, the next Justice...

PartySick 172,545
@LibraLove Read this. Crude but honest. I already proudly voted for Hillary on the 24th. People pushing the absurd idea that she's "the lesser of two evils" has probably been the most annoying thing I've read in these last few months. They are night and day. She's an experienced politician with pragmatic and progressive plans that's had a couple hiccups. No major issues at all. Trump? Totally different story, but that horse has been beaten into a pulp and I'm tired of listing his depressing record of ignorance, corruption, dishonesty, and hate. Not to mention their policies (or lack there of) are totally different. We're not just voting for personalities here, we're voting for plans. Ideas. How anyone could be for Trump and call themselves a liberal is beyond me. A man who is for privatizing everything from space exploration to healthcare and education. A man who wants to strip LGBTQ people of our rights. A man whose idea of immigration reform is to build a wall. A man who thinks we'll beat ISIS by "going after their families", "bombing the hell out of them", and suspending immigration of Muslims to the U.S. It's ridiculous. We don't need a loose cannon that panders to the lowest of the low. We need steady hands and a decisive, experienced mind with progressive ideals to boot. Whimsical bitch
