This moment in the Howard Stern interview was so amazing I thought, because its so true, everyone loves to trash her publicly, and she is always very classy and eloquent and totally doesnt deserve the hate she gets from all directions, but I loved that Howard called that out I feel like we monsters always feel that and it was nice to hear him call it out and also nice to hear Gaga brush it off as she always does because she doesn't care what trash uninformed people have to say about her. A little late but I think that was a highlight of the interview

Of course, I also think a lot about how much she has inspired a lot of younger artists in the industry (Sam Smith, Lorde, Halsey) and her impact is undeniable. She is such an icon, I truly believe as the years go on only more artists will cite her as inspiration. But yes she also has a lot of undeniable veteran respect, but she totally deserves that. Any type of artist willing to take risks deserves endless praise in my opinion.

Also most big legends along with praise also had tones of criticism as well. Its because they were relevant and worth discussing that so many opinions went back and fourth

 

Very few huge artists have no controversy

 

Adele is an example of a rare exeption of a big artist with little scrutiny but since basically her thing is just to sing really great with a mike, there isnt much for conversation there
