'The Fame Monster' is my least favorite Gaga Solo Album

I didn't even read the post, only the title, and I must say, get your ears checked.

But seriously, that is a very rare opinion!

Joanne has definitely become my favorite of all Gaga albums.

Even though there are a few songs I like more and like less, there's not a single song I "hate", unlike all her other albums

I like TFM a lot more than TF; in fact TFM is the reason I fell in love with Gaga's music in the first place. I think Monster and Teeth are two of her most underrated songs.

Agreed, although "Bad Romance" and "Speechless" are two of her best songs. For me it's:

1. Born This Way

2. Joanne

3. ARTPOP

4. The Fame

5. The Fame Monster

Despite it being the most successful, the most liked etc. Album, I just don't like it as much. I mean it's obviously a great Album but I feel like there isn't as much of her personality on that Album - than there is on the other Albums. Like on The Fame you could clearly see how much Gaga craved Fame. Thats why it had much personality in a sense, where TFM just felt (Besides Speechless, SHICD and DITD) a bit... underwhelming. Of course, Bad Romance is a great Song and Alejandro is too. But for me, it's getting outshined by 'Born This Way', 'Joanne' and even 'ARTPOP'. After hearing about how Gaga felt during that time, and what she went through - the Album made a lot more sense to me. The Album may not be easy to look/hear at because there are so many things going on - but in that Chaos is such persona and beauty. I feel like 'The Fame Monster' is just... lackluster in the sense of unique personality. I still love the Album and all Songs on it, but there is something missing - which other Gaga Albums have

Exactly the same here, I love TFM, but I  feel like in TFM  she's trying too hard to present it as experimental pop and how it's really deep but it's not really that experimental and it's not that deep :toofunny:(bad romance is an exception of course) I'd rather have an album like ARTPOP where she doesn't hold back what she really wants to say, and tbh I think ARTPOP is her most personal and raw era/album because she's not holding back anything, and I loved that chaos

i have to agree that TFM has some of my favorites like bad romance and speechless, but the rest of the album is incomparable with her other albums (maybe the fame though)

It's my second favorite! Joanne is on top for now, I can't get enough of it. :saira:

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

The "something" missing is 7 more songs or so.

I think it's one of her best collections of work but of course it gets out shined because it's so short and compact. It's really easy to overplay it and almost get annoyed.

Tbh, The Fame Monster>/=Joanne>Born This Way>The Fame>ARTPOP

I consider TFM her best work because it has some of her most interesting and unique lyric choices and directions. Still deciding if Joanne is at the same level but it definitely is near it. The Fame is somewhat at that level as well but it's production has not held up at all

...then there's ARTPOP :sis:

You're one of the few people who have said that and I respect it because we're all entitled to have our own opinion and taste, so I see what you mean by that. It's just that I see The Fame Monster as an album that stands on its own, I think it's stronger than The Fame and ARTPOP because all of the songs flow together. It's short but it's great, it doesn't leave me wanting more music. The quality of it really makes it feel complete.

I have not felt like that with ARTPOP and Joanne. I mean, those two albums are great, but sometimes you skip one or two songs that by the time I reach the end of the album I'm like "Wait, I was waiting for a climax song".

I honestly don't think The Fame Monster would be an overrated album, because it's that good. I feel like they just wanted to have a couple of songs for a re-release but ended up collecting a couple more for a full album and they didn't expect it to be that good. I will not say it's a Thriller album but for a "re-release" it's definitely better than MANY other huge pop albums that include a ton of writers. It's like they used their full potential in such a short amount of time that they didn't realize how good it was going to be, almost like an accidental masterpiece.

It's my favorite. Joanne is probably my least favorite. I liked the idea of it being stripped down but I would have like it a lot more without the fake accent. The Fame Monster is my favorite from start to finish though.

My favorites are Born This Way and Joanne.

Second tier are The Fame and TFM.

ARTPOP is third tier, bless it's poor soul.

We are the same
