SEANGT 5,333
worst album of hers is still a good album...like they even said. I don't really disagree with them.
chipz 1,200
This is crazy. If this album is her ''worst'' it's still way better than almost all the music from the other artists. Her voice is pure, strong and diverse.
Bear 7,515
I swear we're listening to different albums For me anyway it's definitely her best.
Prada 1,200
17 hours ago, Stef said: 5. Joanne (2016) Intended as both Gaga's most personal album to date and her attempt to connect with more of America's center, Joanne largely succeeds -- "Diamond Heart" sneaks some of Gaga's most confessional lyrics into a Meadowlands-worthy stadium-rock opener, while "Million Reasons" may be her most affecting ballad yet, potentially setting her career up for a successful second act on country radio. But the well-intentioned anthems of social conscience ("Come to Mama," "Angel Down") land somewhat flat, and some of the friskier numbers ("John Wayne," "A-YO") feel like a party whose host is trying a little too hard to convince everyone about how much fun they're having. Maybe we don't need that official review after all http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/7557942/lady-gaga-albums-ranked-joanne-fame-monster Do they even have ears? Angel Down and John Wayne are masterpieces...... and Come To Mama and A-YO are not bad at all. BİLLBOARD

MelbHawker 6,583
I cannot believe Billboard pissed on 'Angel Down'.
Ahmad Samadi 8
so the ranking is way off, for me. I think it should be higher than The Fame and ARTPOP, atleast. For me personally though, I havent been obsessed with any Gaga album as much as I have this one. Dont ask why....who knows. The one sentence that I do agree with is about "come to mama" and "angel down" - by the time I get to that final part of the album, I usually just listen to "Hey Girl" and "Griogio Girls" and skip the rest. Her intentions were good with Angel Down but maybe it wasnt placed in the right spot on the album.

They are just comparing this to her own work. I still disagree with them - This album beats Fame, ARTPOP and Cheek to Cheek (which i always forget to count as a gaga album)

bloomingbeauty 60
I agree but why does anyone care what some bitch behind a reviewing blog thinks?
Omar Vela 2,744
Joanne it's way better than ARTPOP, specially because ARTPOP was full of samples and very flat songs (Venus being the only one that was really risky and a lost jewel )
LaLuna 12,732
In what universe are The Fame and ARTPOP better than Joanne? I mean, I don't want to shade her previous work because I love all her albums, but come on, Joanne is clearly superior.
Tolemo 131
This is how I feel. All of her albums have been amazing and I have fallen in love with each. But, I feel that Joanne is in a league of its own. Not necessarily better (though I feel it is superior to TF and ARTPOP), but just different. Because it is different for her, for current music, it means more. Joanne is that album that I want to go on a car ride with and just get lost in myself in a large city. It makes me want to contemplate my soul and my life. For me Born This Way and the TFM did that (but to other degrees, in different ways). So, someone who wanted the same old GaGa in the same old vein as what is on the radio and for who she is misunderstands the GaGa I have come to love and know. My expectations were rock pop/rock edm (is that a thing?) mix. It did not end up that way and for that I am grateful. I listen to the lyrics and consistently appreciate more and more what she has offered and the intelligence behind it. So I will take this over what is out right now. The critics are fine and are needed and have the right to their opinion. I will humbly and kindly disagree with the assessment.
