That doesn't make it ok though :grr:

The industry of high fashion is NOTORIOUS about this issue. It doesn't matter if you are "selling" something or not.

It's about the poor girls who starve themselves for the liking of the designer. Gaga has collaborated in this industry.

I am against every designer promoting that. It's just that the VS show is so like over-the-top on showing what a cute body is and it affects more young girls than, let's say, the Versace show. But I get your point.

Well she put on a bad ass show at the finale of Germany's next top model and ended it with 'Beauty is a Lie'.

Queen!!!!

Queen of saying "Beauty is a lie" but doing fillers.

Slay, queen of contradiction.

that's really rude and condescending... why would they be dumb and untalented? because they are beautiful models?

I was talking about this. Your'e not going to tell me that VS is about accepting your body when you are skinny. It's about telling what is sexy and what is not.

I wasn't telling you what VS is about, I was telling you what Gaga is about. She's long aligned herself with the fashion industry and taken part in many shows with skinny models so it just seems like a random criticism/reason for disappointment as it's not new at all.

And poking fun at models by saying they "eat air" isn't constructive at all. It's shaming someone's size. Just because they aren't fat doesn't make it acceptable to bash their weight and eating habits.

This is actually really good...assuming she'll perform Ayo and maybe DIC or MR? Just keep in mind that when Selena Gomez performed "Hand To Myself" there last year it shot up to top 5, hopefully the same will for Gaga.

I am aware that many designers have skinny models but they don't sell the "perfect objectified  crazy skinny white women" image. Maybe the models are healthy and eat more than air (i was being sarcastic) but it certainly cause bad eating habits to young girls.

Apparently Victoria's Secret models are really healthy. I watched a couple of videos about "living like a VS model for a week" and stuff like that, and they eat unprocessed food (with meat, not only salad), several meals a day, and then they have personal trainers and work out a lot.
