White Noise In "Million Reasons"

Chase

Featured Posts

Has anybody else noticed the horrendous white noise in the track or is that just me? I have both the physical discs, the 24 BIT lossless, and the mp3 copies and they all have a horrendous white noise throughout, but especially in the beginning, so loud that it overpowers the piano, almost. Was this just a recording error? It really makes the song sound bad for me which is sad.

Huh, you're right. But I think you can get used to it and ignore it with time.

Yeah the thing that bugs me about it it's like it is only at the beginning and you can hear it fading like if they started to remove the noise after the you're giving me a million reasons... like it's unnecessary in some way

I think it's done on purpose to seem a little more retro, like in Dear future husband- Meghan trainor, they did that too

It's there purposefully, and I dig it. It's there to give it a certain vibe... a vibe I don't know how to describe or specify.

PI Floppedt

I'm well-aware of the white noise, but I'm more disturbed by the layering of Florence's vocals in Hey Girl and the glitchy part in Dancin In Circles where it goes "Vanish as I touch myself" :emma: But I've gotten more or less used to them soooo :flop:

I don't actually hate PI

What is a white noise?

Blank background noise. Like static.

Also, lol at some of you guys already getting defensive. It's a simple question. I wasn't asking for an opinion on the song itself.

Maybe it's just the mp3 copies I have on my iPhone? It's just incredibly noticeable, just at the beginning, like, when I'm listening to it, the white noise overpowers the piano so bad that I can hardly hear the keys being played.
