HolyDelRey 21,101
Guys, what do you think, can Joanne sell 100k copies in the US during the day/week of her SuperBowl performance? Considering the show ratings, more than 100 million people will watch it. Do we know, Katy's, Beyonce's sales, after their performance at the SB? The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in..
kvnrp 48,353
I think the songs she's going to perform will see a big increase, the album (or any of her albums) not so much.
barnabesk 1,230
No, people will be so disappointed in her, she will sell -100k since people will bring their JOANNE CDs back.
Radio Ga Ga 5,671
I was about to come in to say she already did
Thomas P 18,479
The songs will see major increase regardless if she sucks or not and if she appeals to the public then Joanne may see an increase. I think it may top the the BB200 chart the next week. I I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
Born To Slay 10,996
Depends on how well Gaga pushes the album, I think it (and her other albums) should be discounted on iTunes and there should be iTunes banners for the event. It also depends on if there's any hits off the album. If Gaga can get some decent sized hits off the album, combined with a good marketing strategy with the Super Bowl, maybe she can return to the top of the B200. ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY 6,270
Well I'm sure part of Lemonade's success and the tour that supported it was in part due to the Super Bowl. If bobby is smart he'll discount the album to $7.99 or something. If that happens she will definitely sell 100K
Arizona Sky 10,913
Eh, that's a little too much. Coldplay did 71k pure; 90k SPS, and they are good album sellers. I'll give her 75k SPS at tops
gagaisitalian 3,573
I believe, if I remember correctly, that just the songs that the artists perform see sales increases. Of course there will be a good amount of people that will go buy a Gaga album (maybe not specifically Joanne), but not 100k just for Joanne. Especially since I think Gaga is going to be smart enough to make sure the halftime show chronicles her entire career, not just Joanne. Like Bey performed End of Time which was a fan favorite and not a single, so that particular song had a big sales increase in 2013.

I don't see her being off the B200 by February lol she may be below the Top 50, but I definitely think she'll remain on it. With streaming integrated into the equation, it'll help its longevity on the chart aside from pure sales alone.

She should make Joanne cheaper. plus she did 3.99 first week, so she clearly doesn't care if it seems desperate.
