You can see the radio plays &  the momentum tho. When at #20 then start freefalling , that mean the momentum doesn't high enough to keep it more.

Streaming performance is the example.

That was risky direction actually. When most of the top40 song is that electronic tropical , PI standout. But at this case unfortunately not for the good.

Its funny cause the biggest English radio station here has finally started playing PI a couple of times a day. I guess they didn't get the memo that PI was cancelled

It could have gone top 10 with some promo but the gp didn't like it enough for it to go to number 1/have a higher peak.

Its one of the weakest songs on Joanne :classy: Its not as emotional as MR, doesnt have that MR substance that nowadays misses, thats why MR is doing so good, it connects with people on emotional level and is stripped down, I love PI but the key change :toofunny: and it sounds very repetitive.

Serendipity

Worst song off the album.

lead should've been A-Yo

even at worst, it would've gone Top 10

The song sounds uncomfortable. But the message behind it is important, it's about all kind illusions and one of the most important is our current virtual social structures and what  future  brings with it.

Although I LOVE the song (it's grown EVEN MORE on me after the album release), I wish it would have stayed an album track.

It has that hidden-gem quality to it but it's just not GP friendly enough.:classy:

I really think that Diamond Heart should have been the lead single.

Yes! When I first heard the song when it debuted, I felt like I was trying to keep up with the song and it felt uncomfortable.

With the GP, it has to sound like a hit right away or else they give up on it.
