What is this era most similar too?

The Perfect Illusion era was SO different from the Joanne era.

i personally feel during PI she was a less confident gaga, wasn't sure of her real power, and basically less slayage.

the pi video is really below her game, it made me so afraid of what's to come.

but since Joanne came out, she's progressing more into the monster that she used to be. She's glam, powerful, shady and her shows are full of passion (PI performance at the dive bar, more dancers and choreography on a-yo and john Wayne)

soo... I feel like this era is becoming more similar to the fame monster with the music similar to born this way, but I'm still not sure. What do you guys think?

I did not see things like that but I now agree

I don't see what you mean by that TFM part tho, people were so much here for her when BTW was released, it feels like right now. Born this Way was an event.

Perfect illusion was part of the joanne era :awkney:. I think this is totally unlike anything she's done before. All her other eras are more similar to each other than they are to this

I'm a flop fan I'm only 21 and was too young to dig enough into her back then. ARTPOP introduced me to the stan culture ):

Perfect Illusion actually sounded better after the release of Joanne.

I'm not sure how this happened but it seems like after listening to all the tracks, and when Perfect Illusion comes in, it sounds fiercer than it was before. The climax where after the key change also sounds better to me now.

Born this Way, the song, stayed #1 for almost two months and the album debuted with over a million sales. Everyone was so ****ing excited for ha

It just went downhill from Judas on.

This song is the highlight. It's the final climax

This is completely different from what we've seen. All of her past "eras" have been different to each other, maybe The Fame Monster was similiar to Born This Way but still, they were both unique.

Joanne feels like Gaga without theatrics and just her and the piano, which is something she loves to do. If anything, this is more similiar to her Pre-The Fame years but with ages of experience and money.
