She's struggled with Diamond Heart (especially the bridge), Million Reasons (early parts B4, C5 notes), Angel Down (some weird-*ss vocal placement that gives a flat tone). Smoking has definitely done some damage. I hope she works with a vocal coach for the Superbowl. Her vocal tone live is very unpleasing to be truthful, very nasal and feels like she's squeezing notes out. She may be able to belt but the colour will never match any vocalist's. The Super Bowl Halftome viewership isn't always 100% credited to the entertainer themselves anyways. Katy's performance only made the viewership spike up by 15-20 million, meaning 100+ million were already watching the SB anyways and just happened to catch her performance Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
