What would be bad if they sent both songs?

You're essentially dividing radio promo in half. It's not like radio stations would be playing both back-to-back. Both songs would get some airplay, but not as much as either song would get if released on its own.

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

LaLuna

I don't get it, why are some of you having a meltdown over this? Y'all have been bitching about how MR should be the second single, and it's doing better than A-Yo ever could, so what's the problem?

I swear y'all are just addicted to drama.

This time the bitch isn't messing around with the promo album, i really like A-Yo but MR for sure is having better commercial perfommance and that was the best decision to make.

100percent

I m glad she changed it to Million Reasons, it is more relatable and moving.
I personally do not think it is repeating DWUW disaster. Back then she was with terrible team trying to make money of every possible way, she is now in a perfect team.

That's true but that would be better for the album.

And the songs are extremely different. Different radio stations would prefer one over the other.

I think she should release both, especially since she loves A-yo so much it would be a shame to not release it. And while it could be the third single, I can't see a real good reason why to not release both. They are both doing above and beyond what I think anyone expected them too.

Changing subjects now. The Edge of Glory came before DWUW guys. Stop saying it's a DWUW mess, this is like The Edge of Glory, NOT like DWUW.

it looks messy to us, but the general public has no clue. All they know is if they keep hearing a song on the radio and see it on the top of itunes for a while, it's a hit.

Yeah, you're right; it's much different for us, since we're scrutinizing every single move. I just want a smooth, well-planned, and executed-to-perfection era.

totally agree. I just keep reminding myself that Bobby and the rest of her team have done such a great job so far, so I trust them :)

Eighteen

i think if she sang ayo on carpool it would have the success MR is having now (if not more so). even the snl performance has like 100k more views.

Nirvana

What's kind of funny is that both Venus and A-Yo are both 2nd on the tracklist, both changed singles...

I would have preferred both songs to be singles to be honest, I was excited for music video to A-Yo... But I like Million Reasons too, and it slays live. Maybe A-Yo will be single in the future...
