You know, it really doesn't. Joanne has been hinted multiple times throughout the past as being a very expressive sexual person. Gaga wrote a poem in the back of The Fame booklet referencing her desire to be in love with someone and more than likely DiC references that liberation felt by her during the early 1970's. And it's actually a really well made, beautifully produced song with Indian, Middle Eastern, and Southern European influences, not island like 99% of people keep talking about.

Just a thought but think about a song's placement in album and potential meaning before you try and drag it.

When you really forget about the whole masturbation idea of the song.

It's really just about self-love and being in obsessed with pleasure on your own.

Forget literal meanings, go deep bitchhh. Haha.

If she doesn't do a solo she will exclude it and sing it as a special song, probably

Women's liberation (Roe V Wade, etc.) really was at its peak during Joanne's final years. She passed away in 1974 (don't fight me if I'm wrong ) and at that point mainstream feminism was really taking form. I'm pretty sure a teenage girl in an over protective household would definitely see it as liberating and empowering.

As much as she likes to pretend in front of everyone that the other songs are at the same quality, she knows damn well the songs that are legitimately best and that her fans want, so she leaves them for last. We can all pretend that we don't want an album of these bops, but once we take our yodelodle country hats off and come back to reality we'll see things the right way. Justice for DiC! Even Gaga knows what's up

She did the exact same thing with Schiesse.

Get ready for at least four months of tiny DiC snippets during shows until she performs it on tour for the first time!
