I checked the date and it says it's being released on November 18th. Hmm that' familiar. OH wait, that's when Bruno Mars is releasing his new album. I checked in to the figures and realized something, that might surprise some on here. First week sales for Bruno's last album in 2012 were 192,000. Much lower than I expected. It gave him a #2 opening. He later went #1 months later because of a sale on the album on Amazon that put the sales at 480,000 for the week (so odd). Miranda Lambert's last album Platinum from 2014 went #1 and sold 180,000 copies. This is a two year separation between the two in sales markets. Therefore, if Bruno was selling 190,000 in 2012 and Miranda was selling 180,000 in 2014 then the numbers tend to favor Miranda. ESPECIALLY, because this is her first album post Blake and Gwen Stefani. Her country listeners are gonna want to hear what she has to say. To add to that, I don't see Bruno's lead single being the big #1 hit that "Locked Out of Heaven" was. I think it may have reached its peak, or won't go higher than #3. So that could affect his sales as well. And then there's always the wildcard of Metallica releasing their first album in 8 years. Which could go #1 too since they have the best selling album like ever and their last album sold 490,000 in the first three days back in 2008.
