Thomas P 18,479
In honour of Ms. Perry's birthday, I though it would be nice to make a music video thread. She has let out some amazing and classic twenty first century videos, and I think we should recognize them. Fordt off let me say Happy Birthday Katy Perry! I may of said some awful things about her (all of which took place on this site) but she's still one of my favourite singers. There was only three artists that I ever listened to when I was a kid. Lady Gaga, BeyoncĂ©, and Katy Perry. She made easy songs that I didn't have to think about too much to understand, and some of them I really do still love. Teenage Dream is still a favourite of mine when it comes to albums (Prism is not good, but I'll let it slide). Anyway, her videos are really good (a select few are not good, and cheap and corny, but whatever), so here's my top 5: 5. Hot N Cold This is one that makes me super nostalgic. Brings me back to my 7 yo self. I still find it really funny, which btw a lot of her videos are. 4. Last Friday Night This is another one that checks off every point above. I remember the summer of grade 4, Much Music played Last Firday Noght, Countdown, and Judas on repeat every day, and I was L I V I N G!! 3. Unconditionally IMO it's the only good video from Prism. It's beautiful and it's sad that it and the song were so under appreciated. 2. California Gurls (Ft. Snoop Dog) This video is one that sums up a lot of my child hood. It was released in the middle of Gaga mania, and I was soooo used to high concept, dark, artistic videos, that when this was released, I couldn't believe that I enjoyed such a light hearted video (I was only 9, and yet I was so pretentious). Only Katy video that I've ever learned the choreography to, something that I do with all videos I love. 1. ET (ft. Kanye West) Not gonna say much about this one, other than it DESERVED that VMA!!!! Even people on this site have trouble saying bad stuff about it. It's a pure quality video! (honourable mention to Waking Up In Vegas)!! Iâm a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. These videos have been some of the biggest releases this decade. Iâm a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

BurqaSwg 4,681
just like for Gaga's BTW era M/Vs , i posted an album of like 100 screenshots of E.T. when the video came out  for me, the Unconditionally music video takes the number 1 spot. I would put TOTGA in number 2, it's one of the few music videos that actually makes me cry.
