Not too long ago I remember him on Snapchat mentioning how his mother was sick and in the hospital, he was upset because he couldn't be with her in that time of need due to business conflicts. I wouldn't be surprised if he contacted The Haus (not Gaga herself) about it and them not taking the necessary procedures when it comes to family emergencies. He probably felt abandoned and upset by the lack of compassion addressing the situation. 

 

I mean, I know for me I know when my grandmother was in the hospital a few months ago due to a stroke where they were mentioning hospice care and not being able to take off killed me and left a bitter taste in my mouth feeling like my employers didn't care about me. 

 

That situation probably opened his eyes and he realized he can't necessarily rely on anyone so he decided to go solo and make a career for himself where he can be his own boss.  Hence why he has his own band now...

he posted on Instagram that he's not working with any artists anymore - "retiring" - to focus on himself and his own music and brand. He said he can't commit all his time for artists anymore as it forces him to put his own life in hold. He wrote that he will continue to work as long as whatever it is, it coincides with whatever he is doing for himself at that time.

I don't know who this is, but Gaga is a solo artist, not a group of a band. Background people will come and go, usually because they are ready for something different or have other opportunities that present themselves.

I don't know what happened behind the scenes but he has his reasons and I respect that. His drums are so good I can't even find a word to describe it. Le me just watching Lady Gaga live performances on YT and that's when it got me thinking, hey who's this guy behind the drums working for Lady Gaga? This man is my favorite drummer now.

 

I hope whoever is the new drummer now can somehow give off that same feeling and energy again although I understand it may not be exactly the same kind of thing. Spanky is unique just as any drummers and I'm open for this new drumming experience this era. In Joanne I trust.

with all due respect to him and his mum though, this is a bit attention seeking though, right?

I mean, he knew monsters would get a hold of this and start tweeting him... like, he KEPT tweeting back, then said he's gonna stop, but still continued... it just seems highly attention seeking and not needed, like yeah Gaga and her team may have not treated him the way he thought he should be treated, doesn't mean he should go onto public social media and start writing cryptic things and allude to her not caring.

As someone else said, Gaga is Lady Gaga. She is not a band, the crew come and go, he wants his own career? Good on him! Everyone should do what makes them happy. He was able to travel the world, play live shows to thousands of people, he got paid to do that. 

Although, as others have said, we do not know the full story...
