She chose to work with Mark be because he is an amazing musician and producer and surely he pushes her as an artists and to try new things. I could use the same argument, who knows the final version could be greater than any songs from TFM and well received by GP. He has nothing to do with Gypsy other than co writing minimally, maybe a word or two, which he mentioned in interview months ago. Gypsy is my no.1 song from ARTPOP btw.
