No. It's sales plus streaming, but only 67% of distributors have been counted so far.

Imagine that there are 100 distributors in the US (it's just an example):

10,000 people have bought Joanne at Barnes & Noble and 36,000 have got it at Amazon US. HDD has got the numbers from Barnes & Nobles, but they're still counting the copies Amazon has sold. Both distributors are 1% of the 100, but their numbers of reported copies sold are way different.

Same with streaming services (YT, Spotify, etc.)

I'm afraid there's just not enough promo to sustain the album enough for the next few weeks.

Hoping they have:

- Single sent to radio next week

- Weekly 'making of' videos for the fans

- music video filmed so it can be released in time for late November

- ads on Spotify, iTunes, Youtube and TV

because else she'll just lose momentum. Tbh I think Joanne isn't going to be big in Japan anyways, so better to just do short trips to other Anglophonic markets (where this kind of music does best) and have no more than a week and a half between two TV appearances in the US.

apperently these are not the correct numbers cause more distributors are giving more sales at the end

so the predictions are still accurate (hopefully)

Everyone thought this was the case for years, until BEYONCE released her album ONLY on iTunes (so it was the only distributor) and yet they did these %. So my theory is correct (see the post on the previous page).

You can't do simple math and suppose that the 33% left are based on the 109K that have already been counted.

Because usually, in the 33% stores that haven't been counted yet, there are big retailers that make up for more units. So it could (probably) be that there's a bigger jump in units when they count the rest. Know what I mean?
